I went to my neighbors’ baby shower last week. The party was set up in their backyard and the setting was very pleasant. But why am I writing about my neighbor’s baby shower in my internet business blog? Because I got a home business idea from that shower and thought I would share it with you in home business category.
Since we are next- door neighbors I saw when workers from a tent rental company arrived and how fast they were able to put the tents up. I asked a few questions about the services and it seems that the tent rental business can be quite profitable and easily run from home. It can be a summer business or grow to cater to bigger events year-round. Individuals or companies that put up expositions or exhibitions do not usually keep tents in store, but rent them. If you think this can be an interesting business idea to explore, here are three basic steps for you to consider:
1) You will need to make an initial investment into a good stock of specially designed tents suitable for expositions, art and book fairs or carnivals. For instance, you can put in a fan in each tent, provide a nice-looking and weather-resistant cover, and make available at least two power outlets for each tent.
2) You will probably need to hire a team of workers to erect the tents for you, but that doesn’t need to involve full time employment.
3) For advertising, you can contact groups that periodically hold exhibitions. Work in synergy with them and your business will show a profit.
